Has a beautiful wife, a mardy grey cat, some friends he
loves dearly, owns a house, a few cameras, a ton of books,
a V-twin superbike, two
surfboards, two snowboards,
a bunch of tennis racquets, a complete set of DIY power tools,
too many clothes and a lot of suitcases.
Lifestyle:
Extensive travelling with his family around Europe,
as a
child and as a teen,
allow him to build an international culture and
learn five
languages.
His Childhood in Milan, his teens split between Paris,
Athens and
the United Kingdom. In his twenties he moved
back to Milan, but having inherited
a special interest for
traveling he has spent his adult life living in
different countries,
pursuing and shooting assignments as a film
director and
as a photographer.
Ever a nomad, he has lived four years in Turin,
two more
years in London, one year in Madrid,
another one in Los Angeles and has married
in Formentera.

Professional Record:
In 1988, taking part-time jobs as a student, he
begins to grasp the art of film-making in
the advertising/TV commercial
industry. He gathers multiple experiences employed
in every skill, from making
coffee, onto crew, assistant editor and assistant producer.
RCS Group and DARP Group (Gulliver, Dove) covering national and international assignments.
In 1995, now a full time Producer, he founds his own company ActionMovie.
In 1996
he makes his Directorial debut on a TV commercial for Nitro Snowboards,
he goes
on to write, produce and direct through his company TVCs, music videos,
shorts
and documentaries which earn him national and international awards.
and starts shooting his first narrative feature “11th Round”, a 32 min docu-drama on women boxing.
In 2004 Stefano joins the roster of Bedeschifilm as a director+producer of his own projects.
In 2005 he premieres in Milan “11th Round” a
docu-drama on women boxing wich goes on to
obtain international acclaim at Film Festivals and is distributed in North America.
for D Magazine and Amica.
From 2006 until 2008 he has held courses at Milan’s IED on Art Direction and Film Direction.
In 2008 he attends Rutger Hauer’s Film Factory in
Rotterdam, where he directs two short films:
“Action” and “A short Message”,
both are premiered at the 2008 Rotterdam Film Festival.
In 2008 he begins research and writing for a screenplay titled “The wolf”.
In 2009 he produces and directs with
Bedeschi Film a 15 minute featurette titled “The Wolf”
for his up-coming
feature project “Nature of the wolf/ La natura del lupo”.
a team of five and begins to attend as a
delegate the European Film Market
both at The Berlinale and Cannes Festival (on
going).
In 2010 he develops and produces for
Bedeschi Film a project titled “The restaurant”.
He produces a book for the
film which causes a sensation in Cannes EFM.
In 2011 he begins writing another
original screenplay “The cook and the hummingbird”
a drama-thriller set on the
waterfront of Genova at the climax of World War II.
July 2011 sees the dawn of his new
operations outfit “Superhero Studio” through which
he produces, directs,
photographs and writes for his own clients.
His graphic visionary style is
defined “cinematic adfilm” and he specializes on new formats
for the web,
cinema and crossmedia exploitation.
In 2012 he launches a series of professional workshops titled Love Cinematography #.
Stefano has produced and shot internationally in countries
such as:
Italy, UK, The Netherlands, France, Spain, Portugal, Lithuania, Hungary,
Greece, Morocco,
Camerun, South Africa, UAE, India, USA (across), Central and
Southern America.
His
work both as a director and a photographer has been featured on most
major
advertising, photography, news and art media, including Shots, Boards Magazine,
Flash Art, Vogue Italia, Amica, D Repubblica, Repubblica, Rolling Stone and Glamour.
Stefano has directed and produced commercials for clients such as:

Arctic Vodka, BMW, Canon, Rai TV, Stream TV, Biancosarti, CHL, Melting Pot

Fiat Auto, Emmelunga, 2006 Winter Olympics, YesOrNo Jeans, Manor Group

He has
